What Is Vegan? Vegan means the product contains no animal-derived ingredients, including any ingredients produced by animals. It's this last clause that differentiates vegetarian and vegan products:
- Vegetarian products contain no animal ingredients, but they may contain animal-produced ingredients, such as honey or beeswax.
- Vegan products contain no honey, beeswax, or any other animal-produced ingredients.

Nice suggestion from customer Naomi D: "After I clean my face, I reapply it as moisturizer and go to bed. Great stuff." This has great moisturizing ingredients, and since it's a plant-oil-based cleanser, no detergent or soap to worry about leaving on your face. The plant oils themselves are good moisturizers.

Alba Hawaiian Jasmine & Vitamin E Moisture Cream, 3 oz

Glycerin and plant oils provide excellent moisturizers. One of the plant oils, borage oil, also is a source of gamma linolenic acid as well, a good anti-inflammatory. And gotu kola has antibacterial properties.
Alba Hawaiian Kona Coffee After Sun Lotion, 8.5 oz
