What Is Vegan? Vegan means the product contains no animal-derived ingredients, including any ingredients produced by animals. It's this last clause that differentiates vegetarian and vegan products:
- Vegetarian products contain no animal ingredients, but they may contain animal-produced ingredients, such as honey or beeswax.
- Vegan products contain no honey, beeswax, or any other animal-produced ingredients.

Level Naturals Soap - Peppermint Volcano, 6 oz (170 gm)
From the Level Naturals material: "Especially dirty? Covered in grease? ...This bar is filled with ground up pumice and some especially invigorating peppermint oil to make you as fresh as the day you were born. ...Scrub away!"
From the Level Naturals material: "No dragons were harmed in the production of this soap. That being said, dragons blood is the sap from a tree. In Chinese medicine it is said to be especially powerful at moving chi. In homeopathy we are told it promotes collagen growth. Whatever it does, we love it. Mixed with some spiced orange to make you a touch more spicy, we say dragon skin be gone!"

Level Naturals Soap - Amber Sandalwood, 6 oz (170 gm)
From the label: "For face, hands, body and hair. This all purpose cleanser is made with the highest quality ingredients for chemical and fragrance sensitive individuals."
The Mayo Clinic recommends "unscented products with sarcosinates, sulfosuccinates and cocoamphodiacetates" (see the Mayo Clinic web site article titled "Dry Skin" at www.mayoclinic.com). This simple, extremely gentle, and effective formula uses sodium sarcosinate. A thin gel that lathers up moderately and leaves skin clean and soft. It's listed for use as a shampoo, too, but it doesn't lather much as a shampoo.
Magick Botanicals Hair Conditioner, Detangler & Shine Spray, 6 oz
From Magick Botanicals literature: "100% pure dimethicone and cyclomethicone. Derived from silica, a naturally occurring mineral from the Earth's crust...Nothing else!"
Spray on dry hair for a great shine. Can also be used as a light conditioner on wet hair, giving hair a silky feel when dry. The name says detangler, too, but only for light tangles.
