What Is Vegan? Vegan means the product contains no animal-derived ingredients, including any ingredients produced by animals. It's this last clause that differentiates vegetarian and vegan products:
- Vegetarian products contain no animal ingredients, but they may contain animal-produced ingredients, such as honey or beeswax.
- Vegan products contain no honey, beeswax, or any other animal-produced ingredients.
Carried by popular demand. Men and women customers alike have told us this is the best shaving cream they've used. pH balanced. Fragrance Free version has no added fragrance, but plant extracts give it light, refreshing scent.
MAGICK
Fragrance Free Cleanser for the Chemically Sensitive- 16 oz.
From the label: "For face, hands, body and hair. This all purpose cleanser is made with the highest quality ingredients for chemical and fragrance sensitive individuals." The Mayo Clinic recommends "unscented products with sarcosinates, sulfosuccinates and cocoamphodiacetates" (see the Mayo Clinic web site article titled "Dry Skin" at www.mayoclinic.com). This simple, extremely gentle, and effective formula uses sodium sarcosinate. A thin gel that lathers up moderately and leaves skin clean and soft. This is a Holy Grail cleanser. It's listed for use as a shampoo, too, but it doesn't lather much as a shampoo. No added fragrance.
From Magick Botanicals literature: "100% pure dimethicone and cyclomethicone. Derived from silica, a naturally occurring mineral from the Earth's crust...Nothing else!" Spray on dry hair for a great shine. Can also be used as a light conditioner on wet hair, giving hair a silky feel when dry. The name says detangler, too, but only for light tangles. No added fragrance.
Fragrance Free Hair Styling Gel for the Chemically Sensitive- 8 oz.
From the label: "...contains the highest quality ingredients for chemical and fragrance sensitive individuals." Also, this product has few ingredients, further reducing the chance of reactions.
Fragrance Free Hair Spray for the Fragrance Sensitive- 6 oz.
From the label: "This is a simple, clean & mild formula designed for frequent use. It will neither strip the hair nor build up a residue. Aloe and vegetable glycerin enhance the mildness while natural soap & detergent-free shikai extract provide gentle cleansing. Each ShiKai shampoo is based on this special botanical extract obtained from the fruit of an East Asian acacia tree. It is this extract which provides rich, dense, gentle lather and leaves hair shiny and manageable."
From the label: "This formula provides extra moisturization for dry, damaged or brittle hair. Aloe, combined with vegetable glycerin, restores shine and softness while natural soap & detergent-free shikai extract provide gentle cleansing.
