From the label: "Alpha hydroxy acids are all natural substances found in fruits and sugar cane. They gently speed up the exfoliation process while improving skin tone and texture. With 8% alpha hydroxy acids, we have created an intensive moisturizer for the face and neck." This has glycolic and lactic acids, the AHAs shown to work. Most importantly, this product has the correct pH to allow the AHAs to be effective (many AHA products on the market have too high a pH for the AHAs to be effective). This also has excellent moisturizers, including plant oils - safflower oil, sunflower seed oil, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, olive oil, soybean oil, and shea butter - plus glycerin, allantoin, and lecithin.
Important Because this lotion will remove dead skin, exposing fresh layers, it's extremely important that you wear sunscreen daily when you use this product, even when it's raining or snowing. UV rays penetrate even heavy clouds. If you don't use a sunscreen, you will be exposing new skin to damaging UV rays.
From the label: "...combines the 'rejuvenating' power of Ester-C with natural pine needle extract to create the most potent moisturizing, soothing and anti-oxidizing treatment ever. Enriched with vitamin E linoleate and anti-oxidant liposomes for maximum moisture retention. Promotes the formation of natural collagen while slowing free radical formation, resulting in smoother skin and a more youthful appearance." Almost identical ingredients to the Perfect Solutions Ester-C Creme, but in lotion form and pump dispenser.
From the label: "...10% complete vitamin C complex, vitamin E, aloe vera gel, and rosehips (vitamin C) to promote the appearance of smoother, firmer, more youthful looking eyes. ...acts as a super hydrator to refresh the delicate eye area as well as reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles." Received the highest rating, , in Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me (Paula Begoun, Beginning Press, Seattle: 2003, 6th Ed.).
From the label: "...keeps skin hydrated all day, maximizes collagen production and protects against free radical damage with red tea and peptides. With copper, zinc and manganese for healthier, smoother, more radiant skin. This lightweight, non-greasy lotion minimizes the signs of aging... Great for sensitive skin." No added fragrance. Dimethicone high on the ingredient list gives your skin a silky feel. Few plant extracts, so less likely to irritate sensitive skin. This is basically identical to the Daily Moisturizing Creme that JASON discontinued, just in a lighter texture and pump bottle. It has an SPF 15 rating, indicating it gives protection against UVB rays (SPF relates only to UVB rays). It also has ingredients for protection against some, but not all, UVA rays, so you shouldn't rely on this for full UV protection.
From the label: "Rooibos red tea extract from South Africa is an antioxidant with the highest level of protective polyphenols to help prevent free radical damage, fine lines and wrinkles, leaving softer, more youthful skin. This innovative skin care product combines polypeptides and copper, zinc and manganese gluconates which increase collagen production, refine and even the complexion while softening skin and replenishing natural moisture, leaving the face feeling firm and renewed." No added fragrance.
Besides the minerals and peptides, this also has the great moisturizers hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate) and NaPCA (sodium PCA), among others, and the powerful antioxidant vitamins A and E. It is rated for all skin types, and we believe that is probably accurate, even though it's unusual to find a moisturizer that works across the board.
From the label: "... a concentrated formula that leaves the delicate skin around the eye area smoothed, with fine lines less visible, puffiness and dark circles diminished. Roibos red tea extract helps prevent free redical damage, leaving softer, more youhful skin. Polypeptides and copper, zinc, and manganese gluconates help increase collagen production, while softening and replenishing moisture."
From the label: "...a potent anti-oxidant perfect for mature and dehydrated skin. Formulated with wheat germ, avocado oil, aloe vera gel and vitamins A, C, and 25,000 I.U. of vitamin E, this luxe crème helps minimize fine lines, improves skin tone, texture and elasticity." A very fine blend of emollient plant oils, antioxidants, and anti-irritants. Best as a night cream, because the oils leave a light moisturizing film.
From the label: "...nourishes and protects skin, leaving it soft and supple to the touch. Natural essential oils of black currant, evening primrose, macadamia nut and borage help to reduce inflammation, prevent dryness and maintain healthy skin cells."
