"Probiotic" means it includes live cultures (similar to live cultures in yogurt), in this case lactobacillus. This lotion cleanser has no soap or detergent. In fact, you can use it as a lotion moisturizer. It has some wonderful ingredients that are a shame to just rinse down the drain!

The founder reports: "I took on the challenge to create a bar that does all of this while helping to leave the skin clean, soft and supple. She [the friend] used the Acne-Safe Facial Bar and returned one week later. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. She told me that she felt beautiful. That was 9 years ago and I am still making the same bar with the same ingredients with customers getting the same results."
The founder recommends that you use the Acne-Safe Facial Bar in the morning to deep cleanse the skin and use the Sensitive Skin Bar at night to put moisture back into the skin. Even with acne your skin must have moisture.
