Soap-free for dry, delicate skin. pH Balanced. Hypo-allergenic." 80% Certified organic ingredients. Smells like chocolate mint!
Nice suggestion from customer Naomi D: "After I clean my face, I reapply
it as moisturizer and go to bed. Great stuff." Sure enough, there are great moisturizing ingredients in this, and since it's a plant-oil-based cleanser, no detergent or soap to worry about leaving on your face. The plant oils themselves are good moisturizers.

From the label: "Enriched with jasmine and vitamin E, this luxurious moisture cream works day and night to replenish essential nutrients and neutralize free radicals for a soft, smooth, radiant complexion. Gentle for all skin types. pH balanced." Glycerin and plant oils provide excellent moisturizers. One of the plant oils, borage oil, also is a source of gamma linolenic acid as well, a good anti-inflammatory. And gotu kola has antibacterial properties. 76% Certified organic ingredients.
From the label: "Exotic and aromatic, the natural acids in coffee soften skin and revitalize circulation, while caffeine and EGCG help neutralize free-radical damage due to sun over-exposure. [WRB note: EGCG is epigallocatechin gallate, a component of green tea that is a good antioxidant.] Tropical emollients hydrate and nourish for a healthy radiant glow. Hypo-allergenic." 72% Certified organic ingredients. The emollients include sweet almond and kukui nut oils and shea butter.
From the label: "Tropical nut oils rich in essential fatty acids blended in a rich, luxurious body cream to soften, soothe and smooth rough, dry, flaky skin. Hypo-allergenic." 72% certified organic ingredients.

From the label: "Moisturizing protection perfect for daily wear and under make-up. A broad spectrum UVA & UVB shield to help prevent sunburn. Non-greasy and fragrance free for sensitive skin." Absorbs very well. Includes avobenzone, which protects against UVA rays (rays related to wrinkles and cancer), and other sunscreen ingredients that protect against UVB rays (rays related to burning and cancer). Blended with light moisturizers and anti-inflammatories. No added fragrance.
Sport Sunscreen SPF 30+ Very Water Resistant - 4 oz.
From the label: "Fast absorbing, non-greasy lotion for active lifestyles. Fragrance free. A broad spectrum UVA & UVB providing high protection against sunburn. Retains SPF after 40 minutes of water activity." Includes avobenzone, which protects against UVA rays (rays related to wrinkles and cancer), and other sunscreen ingredients that protect against UVB rays (rays related to burning and cancer). Blended with light moisturizers and anti-inflammatories. No added fragrance.
From the label: "A golden tan year-round for face and body. Easy to use, non-streaking formula absorbs quickly for natural looking color in less than 3 hours."
This is a new formula. It differs from the old one in several ways: it now includes silicones (cyclomethicone and dimethicone) for a smoother, silkier texture; the tanning ingredient (dihydroxyacetone) has moved up on the ingredient list, so it's possible there's more of it; it no longer includes a sunscreen.
Slate magazine had this to say about the original formula: For me, given price and quality of color, the winner was Alba Botanica [Sunless Tanning Lotion]. -
MSN.com Slate Magazine, "Tanning Your Hide" by Emily Yoffe, Nov. 11, 2002.
Customer Nancy J. writes this about the new formula: "First, it smells better! -- My husband used to hate the smell - now he says it smells like coconut. I notice, too, that the next day it doesn't smell as much as it used to. It went on well, with not too many streaks the next day (you forget how careful you need to spread it!), and the color is good. So, overall, I think they've improved it, and I'm very happy with it!"
From the label: "This deep, nourishing drink for dry, thirsty skin blends certified organic aloe vera, green tea and chamomile extracts for optimum moisture balance and therapeutic benefits. Exquisitely light, yet rich in natural plant emollients to soothe and protect dry, sensitive skin. It's the perfect all-over body treatment. ...Ideal for use in massage. Hypo-allergenic." This is identical to the Original Body Lotion, just without the botanical fragrance.
From the Alba material: "For dry or damaged natural and color-treated hair. Renewed softness, bounce, and shine. You will love the omega-rich cloudberry oil with gentle cleansers, soothing calendula and nourishing panthenol."
