The Zuzu liquid foundation has a more sheer coverage. Some customers have likened it to a tinted moisturizer. Great for summertime use or when you need just a lighter cover. This foundation is also great if you have problems with breakouts. Its ingredients all rank low on the comedogenic scale (low is good!). Unlike many oil-free foundations, it truly is noncomedogenic. You'll find recommendations for this foundation on Internet forums from women with breakout problems. And with an SPF 18 and full-spectrum UVA/UVB protection, it offers good UV protection, too.
Here are the color descriptions:
L-3: Light/Ivory skin - Neutral undertone
L-6: Light/Ivory skin - Pink undertone
L-8: Light/Medium skin - Pink undertone
L-11: Light/Medium skin - Neutral undertone
L-14: Medium skin - Neutral undertone
L-16: Medium skin - Pink undertone
L-19: Darkest skin - Cocoa brown undertone
L-21: Dark skin - Pink undertone
L-24: Dark skin - Neutral undertone

Important note about Onyx (June 11 update): Gabriel, which owns Zuzu, has been trying different packaging for its Zuzu mascara. For the Onyx, they have been alternately trying packaging that is a shiny black tube and one that is a matte rubber tube. The current batch of Onyx is in the shiny tube. The Espresso and Navy colors are in the matte rubber tube. We wanted to point this out, because it can be confusing if you were used to their original packaging or if you had a previous batch of the Onyx in the matte rubber.
