White Rabbit Beauty
About Us
White Rabbit Beauty was born out of a basic conflict many of us face: We want wonderful skin care and cosmetics that help us look our best, but we struggle to reconcile this with the terrible price other animals pay.

Jean, the proprietor, has a BSCE from MIT and an MS from Stanford, with a specialty in Environmental Engineering. Her background in chemistry helped her evaluate the often conflicting information about ingredients and products.
The conflict came to the fore for the proprietor, Jean, when she encountered a small, battered red tabby in Plano, Texas. She took him home, named him Plano, and they became best buddies. Although Plano was not a laboratory animal, he epitomized the pain that can be inflicted on animals. From that point on, Jean determined to find and use only products that were not tested on animals. But she also wanted good, effective products. Realizing that other women might have the same dilemma, she decided to open White Rabbit Beauty, a store that would combine excellence and compassion in beauty products.

White Rabbit Beauty's mission is to bring you the best beauty products on the market, with an assurance that none of them have been tested on animals at any stage of their development.

We hope you find White Rabbit Beauty a fun and rewarding store.

Meet the Board
Jennycat Chief Negotiator. The Humane Shelter swore she was a normal cat, but we have our doubts. We suspect they crossed a bulldog and a badger and sent her to a prestigious law school.
Plano, aka Pocket Tiger Chief enforcer of breaks, requiring 15 minutes of play time (with him) for every 30 minutes of work.
Tyler, aka Battle Cat So many war stories, and he'll bend your ear all day with them. Now in middle age, this fierce tabby has finally hung up his gloves, content to just bat Jennycat now and then.
Gwen and Xander Lobbied hard to change the store name to "Brown Rabbit Beauty." Gwen’s playful spirit was misunderstood early in life, and she was left at a shelter for being “aggressive to humans.” Her mate Xander is an adventurer whose mission in life is to get behind the sofa for reconnaissance. Gwen loves books and box springs. Xander is more of a cable guy.
Pete A border collie mix, Pete loves to organize the rest of the board, with predictable consequences. We keep a stockpile of first-aid creams.
Henry A gentle soul, a real sweetie. But having spent his first months in a parking lot, he has the manners of a dumpster diver. No one dares tell him, though - only Pete is his match in size.
